Speak your call. Get corrected right away.
Practice by voice or keyboard. You get a score for every call, and each score tells you exactly what you missed, what was extra, and how to say it better next time.
What RadioBuddy actually does
RadioBuddy is built around realistic exchanges, immediate correction, and structured repetition. The goal is to make correct radio calls feel familiar before they become high-pressure in the cockpit.
Practice by voice or keyboard. You get a score for every call, and each score tells you exactly what you missed, what was extra, and how to say it better next time.
Each scenario comes with maps, taxi routes, and reference material so you always know where you are and what the controller is asking you to do.
The controller responds with spoken audio, so you practice the back-and-forth rhythm of a real exchange instead of reading text on a screen.
Training coverage
How it works
Each mission starts with context, walks through a radio exchange, and keeps the loop tight enough for deliberate practice instead of passive reading.
You're parked at Hanscom Field, ATIS is current, and Ground is waiting on 121.7. The briefing, the map, and the prompt are all there. No guessing what to say.
Say it out loud, just like you would in the cockpit. RadioBuddy listens, ATC responds, and the exchange keeps moving at real-world pace.
Missed the runway number? Said the callsign wrong? You see what landed, what was missing, and how to nail it next time.
From beta testers
"I used to freeze every time I had to call ground. After running through the taxi scenarios a few times, the words just started coming out. My CFI noticed the difference on my next lesson."
Alex, Student pilot
"The grading is surprisingly specific. It doesn't just tell you that you were wrong, it tells you exactly which pieces were missing and how to fix the call."
John, Pre-solo
